Masjid al-Ji'ranah

The Prophet ﷺ entered ihram for Umrah from al-Ji'ranah after the Battle of Hunayn.

History and Seerah

The historic valley northeast of Makkah where the Prophet ﷺ stayed and divided the spoils of the Battle of Hunayn in 8 AH. From here, the Prophet ﷺ entered the state of Ihram and performed a nighttime Umrah before returning to Madinah.
